Job Summary:
Responsible for set up, service, and tear down
of banquet bars for events and meetings according to banquet event orders
MUST HAVE:
*Excellent verbal and written
communication
*Strong reading skills
*Knowledge of food, wine, liquor,
mixology, beer and styles of service such as plated, buffet, family style,
receptions, etc.
*Knowledge of pertinent health
regulations and liquor laws
*Food Handler Card required
(certification available through Kingsmill upon hire)
*TIPS (Training for Intervention
Procedures) certification required (available through Kingsmill upon hire)
*Ability to lift, push, pull,
carry a minimum of 40 pounds
*Must be able to lift loaded food
tray above shoulder
*Ability to stand, walk, stoop,
kneel, crouch, reach for an extended period of time
*Ability to bend at waist and
perform repetitive foot and hand action
*Good hand/eye/foot coordination
required
*Ability to work days,
nights, weekends, holidays
*Must be at least 21 years of
age
*High school diploma or
equivalent required
*1+ years as a bartender in a restaurant or hotel
PREFERRED:
*Experience with Micros Point of Sale system a plus
*1+years food & beverage
experience required, hotel experience preferred
