Pastry Chef

Raised and trained in Germany, Uwe began his career abroad working in Bermuda, London and Switzerland. While in Switzerland, he opened the pastry department at the Hotel National Zermatt where his duties included developing the dessert menu and producing all baked goods. Uwe then joined the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, Texas, as the Executive Pastry Chef and Assistant Banquet Maitre’D followed by the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta as the Banquet Maitre’D.

Uwe’s extensive knowledge in pastry and restaurant management serves him well at the Anheuser-Busch InBev owned Kingsmill Resort & Spa where he oversees the Pastry Shop at Kingsmill, dazzling guests with his elaborate showpieces and desserts.
