Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for exemplary guest service in the salon, advanced knowledge of color, cutting, style, relaxers and formal up-do’s a must. Retail and nail service experience a plus.
-
Perform hair styling, cutting and coloring and other related services to include ethnic hair for guests.

Promote, up sell and assist in marketing of retail items.
-
Ensure salon areas are supplied and report any low inventories to supervisor.
-
Ensure salon areas are safe, sanitized and equipment is in proper working order.

Requirements:
-
Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology issued License is required.
-
Must be at least 18 years of age.
-
Position requires flexible hours with weekends and holidays required.
-
Candidates must have proven job stability through strong work history.
-
Candidates must have professional presentation and strong customer service skills.
-
Command of the English language is required.
-
2+ years experience in related position is preferred.
-
PHYSICAL REQURIEMENTS: Ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 25 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, sit or reach for an extended period of time. Ability to bend at the waist and knees. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist actions.
