If you are looking for a friendly and social golf group, we are here for you. Each Thursday morning, we use a different format on one of six venues. As with many other October days, there was a mix of weather for the 9 Hole Championship which was held on the River Course on Oct. 11th and 12th. There was a definite chill in the air on Thursday, but the KLGA/9 players were warmed up and ready to play. Luckily, Friday dawned sunny and warmer and despite the wet rough, a strong field played through it all. Their efforts were rewarded with a wonderful luncheon on Friday .
We thank the committee: Sue Coffman, Charlsey DeLorenzo, Mary Ann Gaskins, Susanne Henderson, Linda McCulloch, Gail Morse, Christine Rose and Cathy Schutz.
The winners were:
Flight 1-- Barbara Causey-Low Net and June Wendell-Low Gross.
Flight 2 --Rosemary Marrero- Low Net and Eunice Fenwick -Low Gross.
Overall Champions were Betty Henley - Low Net and Patti Tatnall -Low Gross.
Also in the winners' circle were June Wendell with the longest drive on Hole #7, Caroline Laur closest to the pin on hole # 5, Carol Adamo closest to the pin on hole # 13, and Eunice Fenwick with the straightest drive on hole #10.
We congratulate all the participants and winners!

This is a free “Teach and Play” clinic for all levels of players with instruction by the golf Pros, followed by play. It is held each Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Meet at the Bray Links Starter’s Gazebo and bring a cart if the driving range is scheduled. All clinics listed below are at the Bray Links Course unless the driving range is listed.

If you find you must cancel on the day of play, either call the pairings chair or at the last minute call the pro shop so that they will remove your name from the list of players.
