Jamestown
Settlement - Indoor displays and outdoor living history exhibits
recreate Englands first permanent colony in America and the lifestyles
of the areas Native Americans. Open daily except Christmas and

Yorktown
Victory Center - Exhibits, audio-visual programs and a military
encampment tell the story of Americas fight for freedom during
the American Revolution. On the York River just west of Route 17. 757-887-1776.
NASA Visitor
Center - More than 50 exhibits trace mans achievements in
the air and in space. In NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton 757-864-6000.
Mariners' Museum
- Newport News, discover galleries filled with an international collection
of intricately carved figureheads, detailed ship models, paintings,
decorative arts, and other maritime artifacts. 757-596-2222.
