6 Things You Don’t Need to Pack for Your Next Vacation
Spare you back and make room for more souvenirs by avoiding packing unnecessary extras.
Kingsmill Resort,It’s almost time for your next vacation. And chances are, not everything you’ve packed needs to go with you. Spare you back and make room for more souvenirs by avoiding packing unnecessary extras. From hair dryers and toiletries to towels and laundry detergent, here are 6 things you should cross off your packing list.
Hair Dryer
Not only does it eat up a ton of luggage space, it also takes over the bathroom once you've unpacked. All of our guestrooms, condos and cottages include a hair dryer.
Toiletries
Save room in your bag and take advantage of the free stuff. We provide our guests with everything they need to get ready for a day of fun. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion are always available in each room. Can’t find what you need? Contact our front desk for toothpaste, shaving cream or razors.
Bathrobes
Did you book a condo or cottage at Kingsmill? Our plush robes will keep you cozy your entire stay with us.
Towels
Unless you're planning on going camping, don't pack your own towels. We want to make packing for your vacation easy. And this goes for pool towels too!
Pillow
We understand wanting to be comfortable on long drives or plane rides, but pillows take up more space than needed. Plus, you’ll find that many airlines offer pillows for free, not to mention all the pillows we have to go around for overnight guests.
Laundry Detergent
Skip packing bulky bottles of laundry detergent. Kingsmill offers same-day service Monday - Saturday.
If you’re not sure you’ll use it, don’t pack it. When taking you next trip, remember to pack destination specific. Go as light as possible. Almost everything you need can be purchased or will be available to you for free.
